DOVES FARM ALMOND RYE SHORTBREAD
Ingredients
125 g Rye Flour
125 g Ground Almonds
125 g Butter
75 g Caster Sugar
Method
Temperature & cooking time:
170°C/Fan150°C/325°F/Gas 3 for 40 minutes
Mix together the flour, ground almonds, butter and sugar to form a soft, crumbly dough.
Press the dough into an oiled 20cm/8" round tin.
Cut across the tin several times to form 12 triangles.
Use a fork to make holes all over the surface of the dough.
Bake for 40 minutes in a pre-heated oven.
Remove from the oven and cut through the triangles again.
Allow to cool in the tin.
